The cost for each site will be different depending on the desired content. Obviously greater content pages take more time. Also, it will reduce the amount of development time involved if you supply the graphics and/or photos. Sites can initially be created in 3 to 20 hours, depending on its complexity and number of pages, less time for a place holder (landing) page. I will be glad to give you an estimate of the time that might be involved for your requirements. My rate is $45.00 per hour. I may require a retainer in advance. (I usually do not charge for updating a phone number and such... I understand Independent Businesses and like to work with my clients.) My administrative/maintenance services as Webmaster are the same rate. If your site requires no modifications or maintenance during a month - there will be no billing that month. All access codes are kept under lock & key and are not stored on my computer. While I prefer not to do third party billing, I can also set up your account with the hosting service and provide you with the access codes. Any graphics or photos you supply must be free from copyright infringement. That means that YOU must have all rights to them and they are not someone else's work or property, or they must be in the public domain. Some companies will allow the use of certain graphics. In this case, get a written authorization which I can verify (I can also do the inquiry), and it should be stated so on your website, ie. "The 'widget' is copyrighted by [company name] and used here with permission." Please Note: There are limits to the types of sites I will accept for development... |
